Drake Makes Billboard Chart History

Drake has achieved a milestone in his already fantastic career. Billboard has announced that the “Started From The Bottom” rapper will have eight entries in the upcoming chart (dated October 10), with songs mostly from his joint mixtape with Future titled What a Time to Be Alive (which debuted at the top of the charts week), pushing his 92 appearances to 100.
Drake’s reign on the charts this year has already been historic. Songs like”Hot Bling”and his harsh Meek Mill diss “BackTo Back” being standouts. This epic status has the rapper surpassing James Brown, who charted 91 times. The only industry legends left for Drizzy to surpass include Elvis Presley, his mentor Lil Wayne, and the cast of “Glee”. Odds are it’s only a mater of time.
