Donnie Walhberg Gets His Dance On With “Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia’s” Artemis Pebdani In New Kids On The Block’s New Video “Remix (I Like The)”

Donnie Wahlberg And Artemis Pebdani in New Kids On The Block's Music Video "Remix (I Like The)" The Block/Boston 5

It made our day today when we saw the guys of New Kids On The Block doing their thing in their latest music video for “Remix (I Like The).”  It is a high energy feel good visual compliment with Artemis Pebdani  as a “lonely and awkward wallflower”  female  lead.  Artemis is usually best known as Dee Reynolds’ foul mouth friend on the FX show, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, but in the music video she is busy stealing the show from the New Kids, coming out of her shell,  and getting her dance on with Donnie Wahlberg.  This sequence really visually  encapsulates the song’s theme quite nicely

On a stylistic level, it’s also fair to say how refreshing it was to see NKOTB showing themselves off in more of a “group” or “band” setting in this video that portrays them as the mature veteran performers that we’ve seen them to be with our own eyes.  Because of how they came up basically coining the phrase “boy band”, it seemed thaat their talent often unfairly got overlooked, categorized or dismissed because of Pop packaging.

This video shows them in an actual band setting, complete with guitar, drums, keys ect.  The sound is different for them, they’re suited up in a way that echos singing groups of the past, and comes with the kind of energy that their die hard fans  have grown to expect of them.  We were cheering for them as we watched the video and are betting you will to.

“Remix (I Like The)” comes as part of their latest album 10 which is scheduled to be released on April 2nd. For those of you who can’t wait that long for new stuff from the New Kids, 10 is available for pre-order now on ITunes! Upon early purchase fans will receive the album cut, “We Own Tonight.”   Keep coming back to  Clizbeats.com for more information for all things New Kids  as it becomes available.
