More details have emerged about the final hours that lead up to Chris Cornell committing suicide  Ted Keedick, who worked with Chris for the last decade as his house engineer and tour manager, told TMZ, “Chris was out of character from note 1 of the show. I’ve never heard or seen him that way before, at least if we did not cancel a show.”

While Keedick emphasized that Cornell didn’t seem depressed, and he was in good spirits, but he did say that Chris seemed “high” and “f***ed up.”

As previously reported, Vicky Cornell says Chris told her he had taken “an extra Ativan or two” .  That is why she became alarmed when she couldn’t reach him. Chris’ security discovered that he had hanged himself.   Chris Cornell had struggled with drug addiction for years, but his wife says that he was clean when he died, but Keedick’s take on things indicates that he may have relapsed.
