X Factor Judge and Hollywook Records recording star Demi Lovato premiered her latest single “Heart Attack” yesterday. It will serve as the first single to her new yet to be titled. fourth album. She penned the track with standouts like Mitch Allan formerly of early 2000’s Pop Punk band SR71. Since there Allan has taken his career in the direction of writing and producing music with the likes of Daughtry, Miley Cyrus, Faith Hill, Jonas Brothers, and many others.
Lovato told MTV that “Heart Attack” is about “falling in love and taking that risk”. The Suspex produced track has been described as a blend of EDM and Kelly Clarkson. It follows the last single from her previous album, “GIve Your Heart A Break”, which was her first number 1 on the US Pop Chart. Given the climate of Pop radio, “Heart Attack” appears to be an attempt to take advantage of that warm radio welcome while amping the party up to the next level. Take a listen below and see what you think. Cheers!
