Is Cris Cab The New Sting?

Do you remember Cris Cab? We featured him as our Artist of  The Month back in August of 2012. At the time, he was in the middle of promoting his first  major label single “Good Girls Don’t Grow  On Trees” featuring Big Sean. Thanks to the track being produced by Wyclef Jean, and co-written with  mega producer Pharrell Williams, the young talent was noticed by taste makers like Complex, and Billboard, who shined a well deserved spotlight on his incredible natural talent. Now, he recently debuted his latest effort which also includes Pharrell Williams, called “Liar Liar.”

The track  features Pharrell as a performer, and is produced by him and Dallas Austin together.  It is currently set to be included  on Cris’ forthcoming full length debut album which is scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2014 on Island Def Jam/Mercury.If Cris’ music is new to you, think a 20 something Sting mixed with a “Get Lucky” groove and Caribbean feel. Enjoy the video below. Cheers!
