Clizbeats Featured Artists In Some Fun New Commercials!

Backstreet Boys In Old Navy Commercial

Backstreet Boys In Old Navy Commercial

A few of our favorite Clizbeats featured artists have been showing up in some pretty cool commercials on TV lately. The first of these is also probably the most surprising. Ubisoft Entertainment S.A. recently used the song “Coming Home” by Diddy-Dirty Money featuring Skylar Grey as the sonic backdrop for the trailer and North American Advertising campaign for Assassin’s Creed III which will be released in October and November on various gaming platforms. It is an historical action adventure game based in colonial times  during the Revolutionary War. The uplifting Hip Hop song produced Alex Da Kid and Jay-Z grabs your attention from the start, and allows the commercial to have a very theatrical style of editing.

Diddy-Dirty Money fans may remember that we released an in-depth interview with Diddy-Dirty Money’s Dawn Richard and Kalenna Harper about the unique creation of their 2010 album, Last Train To Paris. Take a look at the cool spot for Assassin’s Creed III, and the music video for “Coming Home” below!

The next commercial features a few things connected to Diddy as well. The product is “Beats By Dr. Dre” headphones co-founded by one of Diddy’s business partners, Jimmy Iovine of Interscope Records. The spot features various artists/celebrities, including a quick appearance from one of Diddy’s new Bad Boy artists, MGK. MGK is rapper out of Cleveland on the rise thanks to the help of both Jimmy and Diddy. Clizbeats will be releasing our interview with MGK in the near future to help promote the upcoming release of his major label debut album, Lace Up.

They are, skinny jeans that accommodate of all shapes and sizes, including the Backstreet Boys, That’s right all 5 Backstreet Boys make an appearance singing inside a giant Old Navy Boom Box, while the spot is scored by their 1998 hit, “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)”. BSB fans will remember that we released two interviews with Nick of the Backstreet Boys. The first was “The Nick Carter Story” from August 2011 . It was an in-depth interview in which Nick tells his entire life story in his own words, while promoting his 2011 solo album, I’m Taking Off. The second interview came in August 2012, when Nick talked with us about the success of NKOTBSB (New Kids On The Block And Backstreet Boys), and future Backstreet Boys projects.
