Last week NBC’s music competition show The Voice announced Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green advisors for it’s third season. As of now it has been widely reported that Cee Lo is going to be paired up with singer/song writer and Matchbox Twenty frontman Rob Thomas, and Christina will be joined by Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong. Over the weekend the information has circulated and has now been spun into the collective Reality TV music competition news cycle as a whole that now also includes the likes of Mariah Carey, and Britney Spears who have recently become part of Voice’s competing show’s American Idol and X Factor. Aguilera and Armstrong gave their thoughts on this trend in music television when they sat down with the syndicated NBC entertainment Magazine show, Extra. Thomas and Armsrtong complete seaosn 3’s set of advisors. As previously reported they will be in the company of Blake Shelton and Adam Levine’s advisor choices, Michael Buble and Mary J. Blige.
We felt it was worth sharing. Take a look below. Enjoy!
