Young Money Goes to “Bedrock”

Lil’ Wayne’s super group behind the break out hit, “Every Girl” is back with another single. This time the group collaborated with R&B singer Lloyd on the song “Bedrock”

Both “Bedrock” and their previous hit is by the supergroup composed of everyone signed to Lil’ Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment as part of their collaboration album, We Are Young Money. The album is designed as a collaborative soundtrack/compilation to promote the Young Money imprint partnered with Cash Money Records and Universal Motown Records Group. “Bedrock” originally made a bit of a buzz early this year on the mix tape circuit, at the time the song featured Omarion who sang the hook on the song. However upon Omarion’s departure from Young Money, his vocals were quickly replaced by Lloyd. The album, We Are Young Money is due on December 15th. Until then, preview the new single.

Clizbeats’ October artist of the month, OneRepublic is releasing the second US single to their upcoming second album, Waking Up. The song “Everybody Loves Me” is a upbeat track that has the drum and bass known on all Ryan Tedder produced tracks. This is the follow up to the album’s lead single, “All The Right Moves”  which made an impact on VH1. OneRepublic’s, Waking Up is executive produced by Timbaland with all songs written and produced by Ryan Tedder and various band mates. Expectt it to hit your store on November 17th!

Shakira releases the second single from her latest English album, She Wolf. The song is called “Give It Up To Me” produced by Timbaland and featuring Lil’ Wayne.
The song is the second single in the US and the third worldwide from the ablum that was released on October 9th via Epic Records.
If the song has a different feel from some of the previous Shakira tracks you may have heard, this is because it was originally intended for Timbaland’s album, Timbaland Presents Shock Value Vol II.

New Diddy Single “Love Come Down”

Diddy and the rest of his Dirty Money crew have been making a lot of buzz with their new hot single “Love Come Down”, which was first heard on MTV’s, Making His Band in between commercial breaks. It is now on the buble to blow up as Diddy & Dirty Money’s second official single from their forthcoming concept album, Last Train To Paris due in stores now in April of 2010. “Love Come Down” is the first single promoted and released under the new joint venture between Diddy’s Bad Boy Records and Interscope Records.

The album’s previous single was serviced under Diddy’s previous partnership with Atlantic Records, until he quickly left them all together upon the expiration of their contract. ”Love Come Down” is definitely a strong choice to start his partnership with Interscope Records! It has a progressive melodic sound combined with a classic Jay-Z sample Hip Hop style.

We Wanted to take the time to give a shout out to the latest Clizbeats featured artists, Universal Motown’s Jada.  These four fun-tabulous girls called in to chat it up with Craig!  Fun was had by all.

The interview is currently in production.  In the mean time, we wanted to give you a chance to learn more about the girls of Jada and their music.

Working with producers like Red One, Wyclef Jean, JR Rotem, and Akon, Jada made their first big splash  providing the soundtrack to the fictional bachelor party of Dr. Robert Chase on Fox’s hit show, (Clizbeats favorite) House.

After getting some nods from the industry heavy weights, they are hoping to heat up even more with their newest single, “Break Up Song”.  Give them a listen and see what you think.
