U.K. artist Calum Scott premieres the video for his new original song “Rhythm Inside” today on Vevo. The breakout singer and songwriter co-wrote the track which was produced by GRAMMY® Award-winner Fraser T Smith (Adele, Sam Smith, Ellie Goulding). The video captures the exhilaration and the uncertainty of a new romance and was directed by Howard Greenhalgh-(Sting, Muse, Elton John, Pet Shop Boys). Watch it HERE.
Scott is nominated for a 2017 Brit Award for Best British Single for his global viral hit “Dancing On My Own.” He recently wrapped up his first North American headline tour selling out shows across the country. While in the States, Scott performed the single on Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Ellen DeGeneres Show and kicked off 2017 with a performance earlier this month on Good Morning America. “Dancing On My Own” is now climbing the Top 40 pop radio chart.
In March, of 2016, Scott self-released his poignant version of Robyn’s “Dancing On My Own” and it quickly charted in over 34 countries on Spotify, peaking at No. 1 on the Viral chart in six countries, including the U.S. Scott signed to Capitol Records and the label released “Dancing On My Own” in June. The track now has over 151 million streams worldwide and global adjusted track sales exceed 2.5 million. Cumulative views of Scott’s“Dancing On My Own” videos have surpassed 150 million, while the song has charted at No. 1 on iTunes in 11 countries and is certified Platinum in four countries. In the U.K., it hit #2 on the Official Singles Sales chart and was the most-downloaded song of the summer. Calum Scott was born in the port city of Hull in Northern England and is currently at work on his debut album.
