Bruno Mars Goes For Another Number One Hit With “Young Girls”

It was over a year ago when the world first heard Bruno Mars sing his ballad, “Young Girls” on NBC’s Saturday Night Live in November of 2012. Atlantic Records originally released the track as a promotional single to help fans get ready for his second album Unorthodox Jukebox. Now, many months, a world tour, and a few more platinum certifications later, the track is going to be his latest radio hit! The official release to radio happened in December right before the holiday break. In that short amount of time it has already managed to already crack the US Top 40.
The song, which was co-produced by The Smeezingtons and Jeff Bahsker shows a great deal of potential in becoming another number one hit for Bruno from this album. There is no doubt that the song was chosen as his next radio single due to the life it had on the charts in that first promotional release. “Young Girls” managed to chart significantly thanks to those early digital sales alone. It even became a number one hit in South Korea already, thanks to a strong debut on the International Download Chart back then. Clearly we at Clizbeats were not alone when considering it one of our favorites from Unorthodox Jukebox. If you are one of the the few who have yet to become familiar with this awesome song, be sure to take a listen below!
