Today, Lance continues to solidify his profile as a celebrated solo singer, having released his first new song in 12 years, “Walking on Air,” which was released to iTunes on May 22, 2014 and plans to release a remix with Dave Aude in July 2014.

Most recently, however, he has taken to veraciously establishing himself in the world of film in an award-winning way with the debut of his documentary Kidnapped for Christ, which he executive produced and earned himself an Audience Award for Documentary Feature at its Slamdance premiere this past January.  This follows a number of other producing credits in film including the Miramax film “On the Line” that he executive produced and starred in, which received the coveted Movieguide® award for excellence in family-oriented programming. He received the Golden Apple Award® as Male Film Discovery of 2001. In 2005 he executive produced Randal Kleiser’s romantic comedy, “Lovewrecked,” starring Amanda Bynes, Chris Carmack and Jamie-Lynn Sigler.

Lance has made numerous guest appearances in film and television shows and co-hosted the American Music Award’s Coca-Cola Red Carpet for four straight years from 2010 through 2013, and has stayed extra busy with voiceover work for several animation projects.
Beyond producing, Lance looks to hone in on his entrepreneurial side in his role as Founder of Famous Yard Sale.  Inspired by his memories of fun yard sales in his hometown of Laurel, Mississippi, Lance decided to reinvent the yard sale as a virtual auction marketplace. His vision has now grown into today’s which also lead to him creating and executive-producing Celebrity Home Raiders which will be premiering on Lifetime this March.
If all that’s not enough to have earned him the multi-hyphenate that defines his ever-growing career, Lance has starred as Corny Collins in Hairspray on Broadway, published his memoir “Out of Sync” and danced his way to the finals of Season seven of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.  In 2003, he was inducted into the Mississippi Musicians Hall of Fame, making him the youngest person to ever receive this honor. Furthermore, in 2012 he launched a pop culture radio show on Sirius XM called, “Dirty Pop with Lance Bass.”

Philanthropically, Lance remains active in various charitable organizations including serving on the Young Hollywood Board of the Environmental Media Association.  He is also the National Youth Spokesperson for World Space Week, consistent with his interest in space travel and cosmonaut training.
