AFROJACK LAUNCHES DEBUT ALBUM FORGET THE WORLD AVAILABLE MAY 19th ON DEF JAM RECORDINGS
Afrojack “Forget The World” Def Jam RecordsGrammy Award® winning DJ & Producer Afrojack is set to release his debut album FORGET THE WORLD, May 19th on Def Jam Recordings. New single “Ten Feet Tall” (ft. Wrabel) is out now, and is a larger than life track that debuted during the Super Bowl and is poised to be the song of the summer. The highly-anticipated album release also includes collaborations with the likes of Snoop Dogg (“Dynamite“), Sting (“Catch Tomorrow“), Wiz Khalifa (“Too Wild“) and Chris Brown (“As Your Friend“), alongside a remix of “Do or Die” by Thirty Seconds To Mars.
Afrojack’s collaboration with Snoop Dogg combines the super producer’s trademark dance music style with Snoop’s classic lyricism to create the deep and gritty sound of ‘Dynamite‘ – a surefire crowd favorite at Afrojack’slegendary live shows. The pair were first seen together at the MTV EMAs mimicking Eminem’s ‘My Name Is’ in a spoof video.
In a bold and pioneering move, Afrojack recently became the first artist to premiere an album title and cover via Snapchat. The first reveal of FORGET THE WORLD was shared exclusively to fans via Snapchat stories, a concept from the makers of Snapchat itself. In a testament to his enigmatic approach to music, snippets of brand new music and exclusive content were being sent each day to followers of RealAfrojack in the lead up to his FORGET THE WORLD launch party in Miami.
